Ugandan presidential election, 2001
Presidential elections were held in Uganda on 12 March 2001. The result was a victory for incumbent Yoweri Museveni, who won 69% of the vote.[1] All candidates were independents, as political parties were banned at the time. Voter turnout was 70.3%.
